Kids at Hooper

Love the Hooper Hot Spring. The kids play and swim for 3 hours and they really had a blast! We came around 4:30pm and came home about 8:30pm. Thanks to Miera's Family for coming with us, we would love to do it again next time.

Knockout!

This photo taken after our hiking. They are worn out for the 3 miles hike. That was a little bit much for the little kids. But Dana was been riding on his daddy's Bagpack Carrier. They are having fun thought and we had lunch at Pagosa Spring! ;-)

Big Meadows Hike

Hiking at Big Meadows Canyon. It was such a nice view! This photo taken last July 2012.

Kids catching fish!

This photo taken last two weeks ago when we went to Fishing at the Echo Canyon Reservoir, Pagosa Spring. Kids are so happy to the fish that they caught. Dustin caught a bass and Dana caught a Bluegill! Too bad we didn't take the fish home for dinner, instead we let them go and take them back to the water. But its okay, we will surely fishing next time and we will surely take the fish home for dinner that time :-)

Dustin and Dana at the convention

Watching my kids being happy at the convention, makes me happy also. I am so glad that we have a lot of friends in the congregation and we are surrounded with such a lovable peaceful brothers and sisters in Jehovah's organization. I wish that my kids will grow up to be a good loving person that they will walk the right path with Jehovah God.

at the pond

Dana love to watch the pond outside the convention center at Pueblo State Fairground. They did pretty good job on that pond, wish we can have a small pond in the backyard, I am sure the kids would love it.

Dustin new buddy!

Elijah is one of Dustin's new buddy in our Kingdom Hall. They are very close and Dustin always wanted to sit next to Elijah. They are good buddies! Love that smile on Dustin's face and that lovely curly hair! :-)

Fun time at the Zoo!

This photo taken last Thursday, June 14th. Pueblo Zoo is not a big zoo but they have enough animals that all the kids love to see. The important is they really enjoy it and I am sure they will treasure this moment when they went to the zoo with their friends. Thanks to Miera's Family for going with us at the Zoo, my kids really love your kids and hope their friendship will become stronger and they will treasure it when they grow up.

the kids at Burger King play area

Thursday, June 14th - we had our breakfast at Burger King together with the Miera's Family. The kids had a chance to play together. After breakfast we will follow them to Pueblo Zoo and the rest of the week, we will see them again at the convention.

Mother's Day Gift Baskets for Working Moms

Working moms are all over the world. It is only once a year occasion for you to express your gratitude and love to your mom; therefore, she deserves to feel special and to receive the best mother's day gift baskets.

There may be times that you resented your mom for being such a busy woman; however, it is something you must accept and understand that she gets busy with work to make a living to support you, and your entire family. So, on mother's day, make her feel appreciated by giving her mother's day presents.

Hand-Made Mother's Day Greeting Card
You can buy a greeting card but a hand-made and customized mother's day greeting card personally made by you, would a good present to give her. If you have an old card board, you can cut them and make it a greeting card. You can design or customize your card with colors, art, or cut-outs. Then you can write your message to your mom by hand. You can express to her how much you mean to her, and how grateful you are to have her. You can also enclose your greeting card in one of the good Mother's Day gift baskets that you can buy in stores. You can also make one too.

Gift Certificate for Beauty Make-Over
Give your busy working mom a stress-reliever treat by buying a gift certificate for her to consume. One best gift certificate is a beauty make-over in your area's local beauty shop. Another option is a gift certificate for a spa treatment. A body massage, foot massage, and other spa treatments, definitely your mom will feel pampered, de-stressed and relieved. It would be a great present you can give her.

Gift Basket Filled with Spa Items
A mother's day gift basket filled with beauty and spa items would be an ideal gift for a working mom. You can either make the gift basket at home, or you can buy spa gift basket from local gift shops. If you are going to make a gift basket for your mom, you can make use of an old basket you have in the kitchen. It is one good way to some money. You can recycle it and design it with art or colors, depending on your theme. Then, once you have the basket prepared, you can buy spa and beauty items such as bath oils, body lotions, massage oils, bath soap, and etc.

Mommy and my sweet kiddos!

I feel very blessed to have two wonderful kids. Love them both!

dustin car model

Look how happy Dustin is! He can't wait to see his car model to get done that's why daddy is helping him to build it and put it all together. It takes about couple hours because they need to be painted all the parts first then glue it all together. I help Dustin paint the rest of the parts and he was so happy about it. I'll post it later when they get done building his new car model.

No Friends

The article written by Alonso Kramer

We wanted to be sure and move after the school year ended, so the kids could start fresh at their new school in the fall. I’m still glad we did that, but the only down side is they know absolutely no kids here yet, and so are bored out of their minds. We’ve been doing “friend walks,” around the neighborhood where we literally knock on the doors of any house that has bikes in the yard, or a swing set. I feel bad for the kids because in our old neighborhood, they had a ton of friends. I know they will here too, it just takes time. Once the school year starts, I’m sure they will meet lots of kids on the bus and at school, and once they figure out they live in the same neighborhood, they will set up play dates with each other. I told my husband that today I am going on http://www.giveadish.com/ to get some tv services hooked up, so at least the kids can watch their favorite shows.

After Memorial Photos

This photo taken last Thursday after Memorial. It's nice to see all people coming to the memorial. It is really important to remember Jesus death and we always thankful Jesus for giving his life to save us for our sins and because of him, we have a hope of everlasting life.

Home with the kids

Author: Theresa Guerrero

Being home with the kids all day definitely taught me a few things about myself. For example, I used to think I'm terrible with technology but I spent some time learning HTML and other computer languages and as it turns out I'm actually pretty proficient at Web speak. I've actually even been building my own website to post pictures of the kids for the family! I've also been watching a lot more direct TV than I ever did before but it really feels okay because it's mostly movies and informational programs. It's not like I sit around all day watching Real Housewives or trashy reality TV like that, although those days do occur occasionally. I just love having the ability to stay home and help raise my kids as it makes me feel like I'm not missing out on anything. Since I'm developing my own skill set I think I'm actually doing double duty because when it comes time to go back to work I'm now more marketable!

more kids in the house!

We never had this much kids in the house when were in Grand Junction since they don't have so much kids in our congregation. I'm glad to see more kids in the meeting and the kids love it. That's why on weekend we try to invite families with kids to come over for dinner, that way the kids can get together, play and watch their favorite movie at the play room. Dustin found her new best friend, her name is renee and they get along well together and Dustin too she found her new buddies too! Her favorite one is Nathalie the one next to her at the last photo :-)

Same top

This is my latest project for this month of February. I made a backless top for me and a halter top for my little girl. I use a black and white silk fabric, its like a cow print ;-) that's why Dana always says Moooo when she wore the dress. Anyhow, it turns out pretty nice and it looks pretty good too, it looks like an expensive top but I only got a one and a half yard of fabric for $6 and I made two tops and a skirt too.

claim calculator

Accident happens anywhere in anytime and since there are many types of accidents, we can’t really tell how much damage it will cost or how cost the injuries was. It all depends on the situation or type of accidents you will have. For example if you been involved in a car accident, of course you will get a compensation for that especially if you are not at fault and you suffered a personal injury. How much you will get? I am not sure but you can try the claim calculator from one of the website I know at accidentconsult.com. You can also rely to their specialist personal injury lawyers to help you with this matters. They offer a 100% compensation guaranteed. You can start your claim by filling out the form directly to their website or you can give them a call at 08081 68 69 70. Guess what? If your claim is successful you will receive the full 100% compensation without any hidden cost. So what are you waiting for? Visit accidentconsult.com and let them help you get the compensation you deserve.

Twisty Balloons

I just learned how to make different animal characters using the twisty balloons and the kids love it. I make Dustin a bear and a flower then for Dana, I make her a little poodle and a fish. They are so happy for their twisty balloons and you can see the happiness in their eyes. Simple things makes them really happy and we love them so much!

INTERIOR DESIGN BLOG

Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis

I switched our internet service to clear wireless internet providers. I was having connectivity problems and have recently started working from home, so I needed a really reliable internet connection. I have started freelance writing for bloggers. I have always enjoyed writing, but didn’t realize until a couple of years ago that I had a real talent for it. I was previously an interior decorator. I still do some decorating on the side, but nowadays, I have been writing articles for interior design websites and magazines. I didn’t realize how easy and how much fun writing about my job was. Every week I get different topics. I do research on each and put together an article along with pictures to liven up the posts. I always send all of my articles to my mom to proofread before I send them out. She was an English major and always has some good ideas about how to liven up the columns. So far, they have gotten rave reviews and I have also gotten a lot of business. Blogging gives me a great creative outlet, just like decorating did.

More snow!

Dustin holding the ice sickle!

My husband make a walk way in the yard because it was full of snow. That way the dog can walk in the pathway instead of walking in a thick deep snow.

Me and the kids!

Dana having hard time walking in the snow but she had a lot of fun!
