I switched our internet service to clear wireless internet providers. I have always enjoyed writing, but didn’t realize until a couple of years ago that I had a real talent for it. I was previously an interior decorator. I still do some decorating on the side, but nowadays, I have been writing articles for interior design websites and magazines. I didn’t realize how easy and how much fun writing about my job was. Every week I get different topics. I do research on each and put together an article along with pictures to liven up the posts. I always send all of my articles to my mom to proofread before I send them out. She was an English major and always has some good ideas about how to liven up the columns. At the water park, Rio Grande Alamosa!

This photos taken last September when we went to Alamosa. We stay at Rio Grande Inn. We stay there about 3 night and 4 days so every afternoon after dinner, we get a chance to swim at the water park. The kids love it especially that frog slide. The water is only 2-3 ft so it's not that deep. There is also a pool for adults 4-5 feet only. It was a memorable moment and we will absolutely go back to Alamosa again. Will see...

This photo taken last month of September in our 2 days stay at Monterey Bay, California. We went to Monterey Bay Aquarium and saw a lot of beautiful sea creature. At this photo, I think this is a penguin egg, this is not real though hehe :-) Anyhow, the kids are really happy to see the penguin and other sea creatures and I think the trip in Monterey Bay is really worth it. Hope we can go back there again for another vacation and see another places in California.

I just moved into a new house. It is the best place I have ever lived. The bedrooms are huge and have the softest carpet. The entire house has high ceilings making the rooms seem even bigger. The kitchen has two ovens. I have always loved cooking and always wanted multiple ovens. The countertops are made with beautiful granite and the bathrooms have fabulous tile in them. The previous owner already had direct star TV installed, so that is one less thing I have to do. The landscaping was also taken care of by the previous owner. He was in the landscaping business, so the yard is fabulous! I have been so lucky to find this place and so lucky it was in my price range. After my last house, I was ready to move into anything. It was the worst place I have lived and could not wait to move. I looked around for a while because I didn’t want to make a quick decision and end up in the same situation. I am so glad I took the extra time to find my dream house.

Yesterday, I went to Dustin School to submit Dustin's School Information. Dustin was so happy and very excited but I told him we will just submit the form and then we will go home. He can go to school when we get back from our vacation this month in California. Kids are running around, they love to play in the grass. They are so happy, having great time with the other kids at the assembly. we got a new printer!

Last week, we just bought a new printer since our old printer screwed up again. It won't start and it always show the error number to it, I can't remember what it is but my husband took the printer out and put the printer in the garage. We need to replace our old printer since its old. We have that printer for almost 3 or 4 years now and getting a new one is a good option. We didn't wait for another week to get another printer. We went to the store and find the printer we need. We just need a regular printer where we can print photos and documents. As long it has fax and xerox copy then it will be okay.

There are many Printers available in different name brands, kind a confusing but we end up getting almost the same one as we have before. Water Color is kind a messy to use but I just let them have it. Dustin is teaching Dana how to color and paint. Dana was very serious on what shes doing. As long they enjoy it, they showed me after they are done and Dana said "mommy, look! color car!". That was sweet!

carpet problem...

It’s been two months since we clean the carpet in our 3 bedroom but now it seems like we need to clean the carpet again. It’s not my job to do carpet cleaning because I am not good at it. I only rely to my husband to do the work. I know it’s a lot of work to do carpet cleaning and we might end up hiring someone to clean it up or else we need to replace those carpet to make it look new!

Thunder our male mastiff have an elbow problem, he has dry elbow and it cause to bleed. We try to put the elbow padding to stop the bleeding and when they are inside the house laying in those carpet, it left stains in the carpet. Having pets is a lot of work but they are part of the family and we love our dogs.

Buying new carpet seems expensive nowadays and we don’t have enough budget to do that. If we have enough budget to do this all then why not right? But first we need to do something in the carpet before summer.

I am a stay at home mom and watching TV with the kids is so much fun. I usually watch kids programs with them in our Satellite TV and even though I couldn’t watch my favorite cooking show in the morning then I can watch it with my husband at night. Since we have 3 TVs, I can turn the TV on in the living room so that the kids can watch their learning kids program and while I’m doing my thing in my computer here in the kitchen, I can still watch cooking show or any movies available.

Weekend is nice to sit down together as a family and watch sports games and movies in Direct TV. My husband love football game so usually we are just order pizza, buy chips and soda for dinner. Kids love Pizza and Dustin love to watch football game too. Mike will teach Dustin to play football when he grow up and that would be exciting to see father and son playing football together.

Our family is always looking for places to go and things to do over the summer. The local station that we get on the Cable Television has a show that takes trips all over the state to diners, restaurants, clubs, food vendors, outdoor flea markets and other interesting places. The show will show a specific city and do a segment on the various types of entertainment in the area. Everything from where to sleep in an old historical building to art galleries and museums are highlights of the show.

With the price of gas and the cost of vacations, we decided to stick closer to home and do things around the area that we were not aware of before. We take notes and talk about where to go and when, so we can see different things at different times of the year. Spring is the time when we look for huge flower exhibits coming into bloom. Summer is the theme parks and fall usually is a trip of sightseeing the changing leaves and fall festivals.

It is great to have a show that is local to find hidden treasures to see close to home. So many things were available to do that we never knew of prior to seeing the show. Now that we know they are there, we have things to do all year.

As a parent, the kids safety is always important for us that’s why we make sure that the kids are in their car seats with their set belts on. I am not good in auto repair and in case we have problem in our car, we have someone to do and fix it for us. My husband has an auto repair book and sometimes if it’s not too serious, he can fix it by himself without any help from a professional auto repair shop. Actually, one of our car is not working. Three of our bedroom are carpeted and since we have three dogs and they sleep with us in the bedroom next to our bed, they mostly leaves a stain in the carpet especially when they droll, accidentally throw up and make a mess. Dana was very sweet to his brother Dustin. She love to give Dustin big hug and kisses. They play well together and Dustin was very gentle to her little sister. Dogs are everyone’s best friend. I never grew up with dogs. My husband love dogs a lot. This is not the first time he had dogs. We just got Thunder and Princess last 3 years ago, we are planning to breed them but right now, Princess can’t make puppies anymore because she got spayed. Every time I say “Dana, come walk to mommy”. She let go right away and walk towards me. She walk’s happily. It’s so amazing how early she walked. She is 10 months old and she really can walk! Sometimes she forgot to hold on me and just let go and walk by herself. Babies are always falling at their first stage of walking. It’s hard for me to see her crying when she falls, but that’s how it is. They will learn every time they fall. Of course I am always watching her back, trying to catch her when she fell.

Here's comes the tooth!

Can you see her tooth? There are two teeth coming out in the bottom. It’s so cute when she smiled. She really shows her teeth and gums. What a pretty smile! Sometimes it’s hard to tell if she is smiling or crying. Well, the first photo. She looks irritated and frustrated. Why? She wants to get out in her high chair. She’s tired in sitting there for an hour. I was cooking that time so I need to luck her up for a while, I will get her when I’m done since no one will watch her and we’re waiting for her daddy to come home! The second photo, she looks very happy. She’s playing with me in the couch. What a cutie smile!

Dana's Bath time!

It’s Dana’s bath time! You see how happy she is? She can’t wait to be in her ducky tub. She loves to take a bath. She loves water a lot. I never hear her crying since her first bath when she was a baby. She is just like me! I love water too and I love playing in the water! I guess she got it from me hehe :-)

Maybe you are wondering why little Dana is in the sink. Actually I put her there because she loves to sit in the sink. She loves to play the faucet. She wants me to turn the water on so that she can play but I didn’t turn it on because I don’t want her to get wet. It’s not bath time yet but in a minute I will surely gave her a bath.

Dana love to go under the table. She never realized that if she stood straight, she will hit her head in the table. Every time she goes under the table, there is no way that she won’t get hurt and hit her head. She’s growing! Even though how many times I took her away from the table, but she keeps coming back. She never learns! Well, as long she’s happy and I am around then its okay. Look at this photo; she seems very happy and pretty with her sweetest smile!

Photo Effects in Dana's Photo

I use Photo Impact X3 to enhance Dana's photo. I extract the object and changed the background and create a photo effects in her picture. I managed to changed the background and make it look nice. At first, I’m having hard time extracting the object and I am still in a learning stage to create and edit the photos. Since I am not using the Picture It Premium 10, I need to familiarize all the features of Photo Impact X3. If I have enough budgets in my PayPal, maybe I will purchase Picture It Premium 10. This is the software I am used to but I still like the Photo Impact because there are lot of features that is really useful especially when you create layouts and designs. Mike is shoveling our driveway while Dustin is having fun playing in the snow. I couldn’t stay long outside because it’s freezing cold. I just took a picture of Dustin and went inside the house. Here is the photo, as you can see we got 6-7 inches of snow in our driveway :-)
